Registration

Getting started with Patcherly is quick and easy. Follow these steps to create your account.

Registration Process

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Visit the registration page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Choose a strong password
  4. Click "Create Account"

Step 2: Verify Your Email

  1. Check your email inbox for a verification link
  2. Click the verification link to activate your account
  3. You'll be automatically logged in after verification

Step 3: Choose Your Plan

After email verification, you'll be prompted to:

  1. Select a plan: Choose from the available plans (see Pricing page for current options and features)
  2. If a plan offers both intervals, registration plan cards include a Monthly/Yearly toggle; Yearly is selected by default.
  3. The first paid tier (typically the lowest-priced paid plan) is highlighted by default—you can switch tier or interval before continuing.
  4. Choose a workspace name: This will be your unique identifier (e.g., mycompany)
  5. Complete payment (if selecting a paid plan) — you'll use Stripe Checkout. If trials are enabled, step 5 shows the trial terms above the plan cards: paid plans start with a free trial period (Patcherly sets the length, see the Pricing page for the current value); if you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged and your workspace moves to the Personal plan (free) automatically; if you do not cancel, Stripe charges your selected paid plan after the trial. After payment succeeds, you're redirected to a thank you page on the dashboard with your payment summary and links to download or view your invoice (from Stripe) when available, plus a button to log in to the dashboard.

Step 4: Add a Target and Pair a Connector

Once registered, you can:

  • Sign in to the dashboard to add targets and view errors
  • Install a connector on each target server and pair it with the dashboard using OAuth 2.0 Device Authorization Grant — run patcherly login from the connector CLI (or click Pair connector in the WordPress plugin), then confirm the short user code in a browser. There is no API key to copy or store. See Installing a Connector.

Free Trial

Paid plans may include a free trial period (see Pricing page for current trial length and terms). When trial mode is enabled, you can:

  • Test all features without payment
  • Upgrade or downgrade at any time
  • Cancel before trial ends with no charges (use Profile → Billing after sign-in)
