Registration

Getting started with Patcherly is quick and easy. Follow these steps to create your account.

Registration Process

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Visit the registration page
  2. Enter your email address (and any other fields your workspace admin has enabled), or choose GitHub / Google when those options are enabled
  3. Accept the required legal terms (email path)
  4. Click continue to start verification (email path)

If you use GitHub or Google, Patcherly uses your verified provider email. You skip email verification and password setup, then continue at workspace and plan selection. You can set a password later under Profile → Account if you want password sign-in or password-gated security actions.

Step 2: Verify Your Email

  1. Check your email inbox for a verification link
  2. Click the verification link to confirm your address

(Skip this step when you registered with GitHub or Google.)

Step 3: Set Your Password

  1. Choose a strong password (minimum length and complexity rules apply)
  2. Confirm the password and continue

(Skip this step when you registered with GitHub or Google. Set a password later from Profile if needed.)

Step 4: Create Your Workspace

  1. Choose a workspace display name and URL slug
  2. Continue to plan selection

Step 5: Choose Your Plan

After workspace setup, you'll be prompted to:

  1. Select a plan: Choose from the available plans (see Pricing page for current options and features)
  2. For a limited time, new accounts start on a 30-day Pro trial with no credit card required - see 30-day Pro trial. Cancel anytime; if you do not subscribe before day 30, you move to Personal (Free).
  3. If a plan offers both intervals, registration plan cards include a Monthly/Yearly toggle; Yearly is selected by default when checkout applies.
  4. When paid checkout is shown, the first paid tier (typically the lowest-priced paid plan) is highlighted by default - you can switch tier or interval before continuing.
  5. Complete payment (only if you are subscribing to a paid plan via Stripe Checkout) - after payment succeeds, you're redirected to a thank you page on the dashboard with your payment summary and links to download or view your invoice (from Stripe) when available, plus a button to log in to the dashboard. During the limited-time Pro trial, signup does not require a card.

Step 6: Add a Site and Pair a Connector

Once registered, you can:

  • Sign in to the dashboard to add sites and view errors
  • Install a connector on each site server and pair it with the dashboard using OAuth 2.0 Device Authorization Grant - run patcherly login from the connector CLI (or click Pair connector in the WordPress plugin), then confirm the short user code in a browser. There is no API key to copy or store. See Installing a Connector.

Free Trial

For a limited time, new accounts include a 30-day trial of the full Pro plan - no credit card required. Cancel anytime. Details: 30-day Pro trial and the Pricing page.

  • Full Pro features for 30 days without entering a card
  • Subscribe from Profile → Billing if you want to keep Pro after the trial
  • Extra sites cannot be added during the trial - subscribe first (see Extra sites during the trial)
  • If you do not subscribe, your workspace moves to Personal (Free) automatically - you are not charged
  • Cancel anytime

Next Steps

After registration:

Forgot password

  1. On the login page, click Forgot password?
  2. Enter the email address for your account and click Send reset link.
  3. Open the email (Reset your password), click the link (valid 30 minutes, single-use), and set a new password that meets the on-screen rules (at least 12 characters).
  4. Sign in with your email and the new password.

If you do not get the email, check spam and that you used the same address you sign in with. You can request a new link anytime. A successful password reset also revokes MCP assistant connections for your account - reconnect under Profile → MCP if needed.
