Best Practices¶
Optimizing Your Preferences¶
- Critical Events: Enable both email and in-app for:
- New error detected
- Patch failed
-
Rollback triggered
-
Important Events: Enable in-app only for:
- Error patched (frequent if you have many errors)
-
Agent key issues (less frequent)
-
Low Priority Events: Consider disabling for:
- Trial ending (you'll get multiple reminders)
- In-app notifications for all events if you prefer email only
Managing Notification Volume¶
- Review and delete old notifications regularly
- Use filters to find specific notifications
- Adjust preferences if you're receiving too many alerts
- Archive read notifications to keep notification center clean
Staying Informed¶
- Check regularly: Visit notification center at least weekly
- Review settings: Update preferences as your needs change
- Monitor email: Ensure you're receiving email notifications
- Test notifications: Trigger a test to verify everything is working
